Interview For New Principal

The college management conducted an interview for the internal candidates for the post of Principal on 3rd May 2011 and soon they will issue order for the new Principal. Along with me, SIX candidates attended the interview and awaiting for the result. Within a week it will be known.

Alumni of JSC

Prof.J.Alavandan/ HOD/ Computer, by the management,  is entrusted with the task of forming JSC alumni. As the Silver Jubilee of JSC is nearing, it may serve an important role in the celebration. Soon he may contact every alumnus of JSC either by facebook or by some other means. I request every alumnus of JSC to co-operate with him in forming the ALUMNI of JSC.

Final Moments-GT left the college.

Dr.G.Thangaraj left the college and joined as a Professor & Head of the Dept. Of Mathematics in Thiruvalluvar University Vellore. 

A BIG LOSS: GT also leaves JSC...

Dr.G.Thangaraj / HOD / Mathematics will be relived from duty at JSC as he has got an offer at Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, as a Professor. As it is a better choice, by tomorrow [01-03-2011] he leaves and joins Thiruvalluvar University on the following day.

When he joined the college(1987), the Department of Mathematics was offering only UG course. Only because of his effort, along with the support of the management, the department has grown to research department level. Now the departure of GT from the department, from the college, makes every one sad. If at all  
I am a Doctorate Degree holder, the role of Dr.G.T. was vital. First, he inspired me, motivated me and then supported me to obtain this degree.

I personally feel a hollow in our college. The absence of GT is big loss to the college. Loosing experienced person like GT and others is not a good sign.

Let us wish GT for a better and prosperous future at Vellore.

Dr.G.Suganthi quits..

Dr.G.Suganthi, Department of BBA quits JSC and joins a Govt.College in Chidambaram on 28-02-2011. Dr.G.T. has been allotted a Govt. College at Tindivanam and Dr.R.Suresh/BBA at Chidambaram and myself at Cuddalore. Still, me and GT are analysing the pros and cons of quitting, as it is only an entry level appointment. But the Govt. has not given any deadline for the joining. Anyway, soon we will decide.

Government Posting

Due to the last year happenings in our college, out of frustration, four teachers applied for the post of Asst.Professor in Govt.Colleges in Tamilnadu, a few months back. Now those 4 got  selected and going to receive appointment order from the CM of Tamilnadu on     25-02-2011. Nobody knows, which colleges these 4 will be posted.
Those 4 are
1.Dr.G.Thangaraj, HOD/Mathematics
2.Dr.V.T.Chandrasekaran, Reader/Mathematics
3.Dr.G.Suganthi, Reader/Business Admn.
4.Dr.V.Suresh, Reader/Business Admn.

The disassociation of these 4 from the college makes many hearts heavy(including these 4).
But I have not decided anything on my quitting but GT.
Let us wait and see how things develop.

Principal's Position

The continuation of the Principal receives poor support from the teachers' side. He finds it uncomfortable and expressed with his close associates that he would quit at the end of Feb. Still, the management has not decided the succeeder.

I wish to write often, but the days are disappearing without any significance in the college. Let us hope for a better future of the college.
