Today Aug 10th is the actual birth day of JSC. Today is the beginning of the 25th year. Only this day people(GT,RSS, JayaSudarsan, Marudurar, Librarian, Britto, Mary, etc..) joined the college, which was located at block-10, and was a part of the boys school building. We only started the process of recruiting the Principal and other profs. I only made the first admission to the college. Her name was Sudha, admitted in I B.Sc. Computer Science. Now she is in US and her hubby is Ramesh,also in the same class, also in US. My first class room teaching started only in I B.Sc. Comp.Sci. Sweet memories....

This is awesome memory sir. We do carry very fond memories of that Bl-10 building as we spent all our three years there. I remember walking in for an interview and meeting Mr Narayanasamy who was the correspondent then. I wholeheartedly wish a flourishing future for the institution and that faith is reinforced by the fact that you are leading it now.
ReplyDeleteI vaguely remember that you started with JSC on Aug 12th. Is that so? I remember the date because I also started my first job at IOB on Aug 12th and then you had mentioned about your first day at JSC.

ReplyDeleteThe very next day I wondered the patriotism of Neyveli people on seeing the way they celebrated 15th Aug at Bharathi Stadium. I still remember one skit staged by Sunil and his group at IndiraGandhi Auditorium titled "Ugly Face" (If my memory serves better...}on account of our college day.
During the proposed alumni meet, I hope Sunil will stage the same skit..
